Asad is a true Artist with color and style!

Hair is Asad’s canvas and the result is a master piece.  He is poetry in motion as he works his magic.  Being pampered and being mesmerized by the modernistic architectural design and fabulous chandelier is the icing on the cake!!!!!! Asad should be doing hair for all the Hollywood stars.  I feel blessed to have discovered such a precious gem here in Latham.  And for the single young girls out there Asad is a catch…very very handsome with stunning blue eyes!!!! Absolutely Amazing Asad!!!

Very professional staff yet warmly familiar like you would feel at a family dinner!!  I will without a doubt be a repeat customer!!  Not only were the staff very welcoming but Asad is a master magician when it comes to hair!!  It has taken me three years to find a stylist/colorist who will listen to what I want and what I expect but still has the honesty to tell you if that would work for you or not.  He took the time to get to know my hair, did not get scissor happy, he is a perfectionist!!  His assistant was wonderful also!! The salon is very clean and has a full line of my favorite hair products…Aveda!!  . Everything about the salon and people is top of the line!! Thank you Asad for everything!!!! Christine. 12/15/10

THE BEST SALON IN THE CAPITAL DISTRICT!!

I feel so lucky that I stopped at Namia Dasa a few years ago…and met Aiman, a truly lovely woman who has an incredible talent, as does her brother, Asad. Over the past 20 years I have made the rounds to the other top salons in the area (once the owner was cutting my hair and looking at herself in the mirror the entire time!)but I am so pleased that I found Namia Dasa. Aiman & Asad are talented stylist and great people. The Keratin treatments are amazing…it turns my frizzy hair to silk and really shows the fabulous cut, color and shine…and of course they have all of the great Aveda products that smell wonderful and are good for you and the environment! I feel at home at Namia Dasa — you will look your best when you leave this salon …the staff is wonderful,stop in and hear great music while you sip green tea & relax — this Salon is simply the best! AIMAN IS BEYOND WORDS AMAZING!

Aiman is without a doubt the best hair stylist I have ever had in my entire life! I currently live in Europe and actually fly back to Albany to have my hair done because Aiman is the only person who I trust with it. She is the most incredible colorist, always gives the perfect cut, and her blowouts are incomparable. Unlike the majority of hairstylists who get chop happy as soon as the scissors hit their hands, Aiman listens to her clients and understands all types of hair, giving her the ability to give you the best look. Not to mention, the entire team and staff working at Namia Dasa is such a pleasure to be around! I constantly receive compliments about my coloring and have people inquiring all the time about where I get my hair done! Needless to say I highly recommend them!

I have been to beauty salons all over the Capital District and really tried to like what stylists were doing to my hair. But, I always ended up being unhappy and would go looking for someone else. I found Namia Dasa quite by accident. I was driving to work on Route 7 and one day I saw a big sign advertising the Namia Dasa salon and decided on a whim to give it a try. Now, I’m hooked and will most likely remain their client for as long as they’ll have me.
I decided to write these comments on their website in hopes that other people who are not pleased with their current stylist and are looking for someone to take care of their hair will read what I have to say and give either Aiman, the owner of the salon, or Asad, her brother, a chance to show you what they can do for you. Believe me, you will not be sorry.
To begin with, I had been coloring my hair for years and my hair felt like straw. Plus, it had a pinkish unnatural cast to it. Aiman talked to me and examined my hair and created a formula using Aveda products. Not only did I love the color (from the very beginning), but my hair suddenly felt healthy and silky when I washed it. I always feel like we’re a team … that she and I are working on my hair together.When Aiman was on vacation recently, I wanted to try the Kerotin treatment that Aiman had been talking to me about. I was a little reluctant at first because Aiman is the only person I’ve allowed to touch my hair over these four years. But, I wanted the Kerotin now and decided to have Asad do the treatment, first coloring my hair and trimming it as well. Let me tell you, he is amazing. You will never have anyone work on your hair like he does. When he was finished, I just sat there smiling and looking at myself in the mirror. The Kerotin treatment is unbelievable. It has given me the kind of hair I’ve always dreamed about having but never could. I have had people stop me on the street to compliment me and ask me where I go to get my hair done.
While I was waiting for Asad, I have seen what he does with long hair and when he’s finished, the girls look like movie stars.
So, I’m going to switch back between Aiman and Asad.
Neither Aiman nor Asad asked me to write my comments. I just feel that I’d like to help others feel comfortable about making an appointment with either Aiman or Asad.
